....I can't help myself, but, I still use words that gives away my geographic location. .....My wife might ask me if I'm getting ready : My answer might be "I'm fixing to", give me a few more minutes. Another word is "Git" ( get ) Lets Git it done.....Instead of : .....Larry the Cable Guy : "catchphrase: "Git-R-Done!". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_the_Cable_Guy ....I don't know where this "Git-R-Done" came from, but I add many other words to mine. "Lets quit dragging ass and git it done", "Can you Git me the hammer ?", "Git out of here", "Can you git that, for me ?"...."Git" is probably the most used word in my Southern Vocabulary. ....but, most of the time, I use a slower speech, if I'm not in a hurry, and say something like "Can you, please, give me the hammer".....Thank You.

.....Combining the two : "I'm fixin to" & "Git"
...My Wife : " Are you getting ready, yet ?"
....Me : "I'm fixin to git" ready.
.....I cut the "G" from the "fixing", to make the answer quicker.
.....When time is at it's most crucial moments, with little time to spare, this is the time to cut corners on the long talk. ...."I'm Gittin"
