According to the White House 25,000 signatures must be obtained to seek any review upon a petition proposal.

As of this hour there are 31, 079 Texan signatures. In addition I counted 20 other petitions from citizens seeking the same for their respective states; again an exercise in futility in any real terms, but being noticed nevertheless.
