The first two meetings will be at the Marquis at Mt. Zion apartments, where the armed suspect sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl on Saturday. The meetings will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday and 5 p.m. Saturday in the clubhouse.

I may wrong, but I found that most Democrats actually discourage citizens from defending themselves, by voting against new laws that allows for people do just that. Clayton County is one many such counties who opposes the rights for people to defend themselves. It wasn't for the laws of the state, we would remain helpless against crime.

If most people took some effort of putting their own lives into account with defending their home, their families, and property, think we would very little crime.

How many "Thugs" know the victims when they jack their victims cars, or flat screen televisions, or the victims wallets or pocket books ? I don't call self defense by anything personal, I call it the business end of survival.

Practice is very important also. Too many folks purchase a weapon and do not get familiar with it. One should know what their weapon will do when called upon. That builds confidence and that can make the difference in a dangerous situation.
