Roaches In The Movie Theater .....A lot money from around Clayton, Henry, and Fayette County was supporting the City of Morrow, especially around the area of the Mall......Well; Things began to change around 1992, and little, by little, it got worse and worse......Until, the money stopped coming. .....What Happened ? ....My Wife and I would go to a restaurant around Southlake Mall and afterwards, we would attend a movie. We did this every weekend and I starting noticing big changes, with a people in the theaters. ......In 1992; My Wife and I went into a movie theater on a Friday evening, that was showing the first movie for the day. We had already bought our drinks, popcorn, candy, sat down, waited for the lights to go out, and the movie to begin.......This is where the problem began : As I looked at the seats in the theater, I seen brown roaches covering the seats, they was everywhere, my wife also seen them and we got out of our seats and I went straight to the manager with my complaint....It gets worse .....The first thing that the manager did was to doubt me, the second thing that he did, was to get a flashlight to investigate; in other words, he was calling me a Liar. In the meantime, the movie had started and on our way to investigate, the manager told me that the theater had just been sprayed with bug poisons.....Well, the roaches went into hiding again and I demanded our money back for wasteful evening.....The Manager rejected this request.....I went back into the theater and became to tell the other customers about the roaches and they looked at me as though I seeing things or they didn't care...... Most of us should already know that roaches are hitchhikers, because they hide in clothing......I have no reason not to believe how the roaches made their way into the theater in the first place, but I wouldn't sit back down in that theater anymore. ...This is Story number # 1....I have many more stories from Morrow.

Chaos At The Morrow Movies .....I have been attending movie theaters since I was one month old, because, My Mother was a movie buff. I came into this world know the proper conduct of attending a movie. When I was growing up in Atlanta, we had theaters that was Grand Theater Palaces, with uniformed ushers. .....One day, while exiting the end of a movie in Morrow, my Wife and I experienced something that never happened to us before.....As everyone has trying to Exit the theater, We was met with those that was trying to Enter the theater. When nobody spoke up to relieved the chaos, I spoke up the tell those that was Entering the movie to stay back, until everyone could leave......That only cause more problems....I was met with name calling, nothing but foul language, and threats of violence. It became oblivious to me, that these people was totally unaware about movie theaters...These people was from the Dark Ages, totally Uncivilized.

When The Movies In Morrow, Become A Contact Sport 1996 .....Soon or Later; I found that going to Morrow would require me to wear a firearm on my side....Being armed with a firearm on my person, don't allow me to engage in any nonsense, arguments, or conflicts with strangers .....unless it involves my lawful rights to Self Protection. With that said, I will proceed with the story. .....When entering a movie theater, the first that my Wife and I do is to stop off at the concession for drinks and popcorn. This one time, we was running little late and the movie had just started. The door was about 20 feet from the concession area, so, I was looking at the movie while my wife was standing in line. ....All of a sudden, this uncivilized guy with his girl friend approached my wife, he put his hands over her arms, and told her to move out of the way....Before I could do anything, my wife told him to get away. He backed off, but, I was boiling mad. A cop was standing close by and he didn't do anything. I was the one with the gun and if anything happened, I would be charged with carrying a firearm.

Krystal Burgers With Hand Chopped Raw Onions, Soaking In Mustard, Uncooked Buns, & The Morrow Police ...One evening, my Wife and I wanted a bag of Krystals, so my wife went to Morrow. When she got back, I opened up the bag and found that the Krystals had hand chopped raw onions, the buns was not steamed, and the Krystals was soaking in mustard. .....My wife got back into the car to return the Krystals. When she took returned the Krystals, the Uncivilized Manager refused to refund the money and threaten to call the Morrow Police. My wife said to call the police....When the Police arrived, My Wife asked the Police to look at the burgers, when the cop seen it, he told the Uncivilized Manager to eat one,,,The Uncivilized Manager refused......Then the Cop demanded that my Wife be given a refund.....The Uncivilized Manager Refused......Then the cop told him, if he didn't, he would be taken to jail....The Uncivilized Manager still Refused.......The Cop put the cuffs on him and they had a talk in the Police Car.....When they returned from their talk, My Wife received her refund.

The Movie Complex In Morrow ' Mt. Zion The Movie Theater From The Pits Of Hell .....This nightmare is an instant cure for die hard movie buffs. .....Before going into the this prison of misfits, you will first have to stand in line with this brainless zombies. After seeing them break in line and bunching together.....You might have a chance to buy an over priced ticket for a movie that is probably not worth the time to watch....If you can hear it. ....Let's skip the concession area, and go into the theater. As you walk in, you will see a small screen and seats that stacks up like a Stadium. You can seat down at front level at look up at the screen, while adjusting your vision, or, you can look down at the screen in a Stadium seats, if you can see the small screen. .....The Sound : If you hear over the Uncivilized Members in the Audience, with their loud cussing & talking to the screen, you might stand a chance of hearing the movie. If cell phones spoils your movie experience, you might ought to think about a Drive Inn Movie or Wait until the movie come out on DVD or Dish. ....I warned others about this, but, They had to learn the hard way ;D.......It was the first time that my Brother ever stood up in a Movie Theater to tell a person to SHUT UP !!....My brother has been a movie buff for over 45 years....My brother thought that I was over reacting, when I told him about this place...He knows better now. ;D

.....Needless to say; I haven't been to a walk in Movie Theater since 2001.....I either go to The Drive In Movies or Waiting until it comes on Dish Movie Channels.
...What's more sad; The reasoning behind us buying a home in Clayton County, was the abundance of our Movie Theaters at the time.

Southlake Mall The Saggy Pants Showcase of Clayton County .....It took a long time for the residents of Clayton County to have our own Mall, but, it only took just a few years to destroy it. It's no wonder why Walmart is doing so good in Morrow, The Mall has become just an indoor hangout for thugs that resides around the area and other parts of the county. ...Don't blame the fall of the economy on this, The Mall has been losing customers for over 10 ten years or longer....Thanks to our new generation of uncivilized brainless zombies.

The Proving Grounds ....I have always intentionally found that testing the waters of a place and it's residents, was to go to their movie houses. This is perhaps the most common place to experience the real conduct of a society and it's people. I don't expect everyone to be perfect, because I'm not, I just want to exist just others around me. There is a lot good and honest people in this county, young and old alike, but the bad apples are destroying our county. The color of a person's skin has no bearing of their character or their friendship. ...I couldn't count the times that my Wife and I had arrived early to a Movie, to get center row seats, and then to have others behind us, that arrived after the movie started, using loud a obscene language and pushing their feet against the back of our seats and forcing us to give up those seats for the sake of not making a fuss. It got so bad at the Movies, that it wasn't worth time, the money, or the trouble anymore. ....This is part of the reason why Morrow or Clayton County will never recover from it's aftermath of self destruction.....It will only get a lot worse, as long as it remains on the same path.

The problems above, coupled with the real possibility of having your car ransacked while you are "enjoying" watching the movie and listening to obscene cell conversations, have caused me to give up the movies.

...19and41; Parking your vehicle at the Mall or any store in Morrow has it's risks. The police in Morrow is too busy handing out traffic citations for minor violations. Morrow is in desperate need for revenue and they will do anything. Their city kangaroo court is a sham.

Thank goodness for the example they have set for the rest of this miserable county. Now we know what to avoid.

"Morrow leaders imagining bright future"
....Quote : "that I don’t have to drive into [Atlanta] every weekend to have a great meal or go to a great shop. My dream is for the county, and for the city to have these things".....We had such things, and it wasn't a dream; It was called Morrow Industrial Blvd. ...We had an indoor Mall, Movies Theaters, Steak Houses, Cafeterias, Music Stores, Restaurant Pubs, Family Entertainment places, Appliance Stores, Tasteful clothing stores, ......This area was the mecca for everyone on the Southside of Atlanta. ......I remember telling Chuck Wolff, of Wolff Camera, that he should think about opening a Camera / Photography Outlet at the new Mall in Morrow. This was in the late '70's, and I was talking with Chuck Wolff in his main store, on Tenth Street in Atlanta. It wasn't unusual for me to go shopping in Atlanta, I have been doing this for my entire life....up until I could do my shopping closer to home. Chuck Wolff did finally open up a store at our Mall.
