Very Good :
• Stubb's Original Tangy, spicy, touch of smoke, thinner than most. Best as end-of-cooking baste or condiment.
• Archer Farms Texas Style (Target) Smoky, spicy with lingering heat and a splash of cider vinegar.
• Emeril's Original BAM!B-Q Cumin and celery-seed flavors. Just a bit sweet, a touch of smoke.
• Great Value Original (Wal-Mart) Very thick, smoky.
• KC Masterpiece Original Very thick, spicy, smoky and quite sweet with lingering heat.
Good :
• Bull's Eye Original Gelatinous texture, ashy flavor. Better cooked than as a condiment.
• Sweet Baby Ray's Original Very thick, gelatinous, with sweet fruity flavor that becomes even sweeter in slow cooking, and lingering heat.
• Bone Suckin' Sauce Thicker Style Sweetest of all, with a tomatoey, fruity and honey flavor with crunchy bits.
• Kraft Original Very thick and gelatinous with ashy flavor. Better in slow cooking than as dip or baste.
• Jack Daniel's Original No. 7 Recipe Gelatinous. Ashy smoke overwhelms much of the flavor. Cooking doesn't help much.
